Web3 Made Easy

Understanding who controls an identity or an asset, before deciding what Web3 can do for an organisation.

I delivered Web3 Made Easy in Bilbao for PwC at Talent Garden and adapted the framework for the High Atlas Foundation’s US board members. The training takes professional audiences from digital identity and wallets to blockchain and ownership, giving non-specialists a practical way into the subject.

From identity to ownership

I begin with the move from Web1 to Web2 and Web3, then explain centralised, federated and decentralised identity. Wallets, custody and blockchain help make the central question concrete: who controls an asset or an identity?

The curriculum moves through the metaverse, fungible and non-fungible assets, Soulbound Tokens, digital ID and proof of life, then practical wallet and NFT flows. Concepts become easier to discuss when participants can follow how they work.

A framework adapted to the audience

I delivered the Bilbao session for PwC at Talent Garden. For the High Atlas Foundation’s US board members, I adapted the framework to a nonprofit context, including crypto fundraising.

The same technical foundations supported two different professional conversations. The audience’s responsibilities determined which possibilities were worth explaining.

What I take forward

Technology becomes easier to judge when people understand control, ownership and the practical steps involved.
