I sit on the High Atlas Foundation's US board, and I brought it concepts for Web3 fundraising tied to tree planting and visible impact.
Nizzar Ben Chekroune is a member of the US board of the High Atlas Foundation, supporting its development mission. On the board he introduced advisory concepts for Web3 fundraising that link digital art, tree planting, community participation and donors' ability to follow their impact.

The seat
I am a member of the High Atlas Foundation's US board, and the role is current. It is a governance position in support of the foundation's development mission, not a commission with a deliverable at the end.
A fundraising idea, kept as an idea
I introduced concepts for Web3 fundraising that linked digital art, tree planting and community participation, and gave donors a way to follow their impact. They remained advisory concepts.
The same question ran through my 2023 NFT.NYC talk on NFTs, NGOs and fundraising. For a nonprofit, what the technology offers is traceability for the donor, not a collectible for its own sake.
What I take forward
I can hold a governance role for a mission and bring it new tools without overstating what those tools have done.
